ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Subash Chandra Rao. Welcome to my website, all about Travel & Street Photography. I have been a practicing Travel & Street Photographer. I am also a photo educator. I started my photography journey in the year 2002. I have also been a professor for over a decade in various Universities and colleges and have been fortunate to teach Photography at the postgraduate level. I have always been a traveler, adventurer, and experience junkie.
I began taking photos in college because I wanted to record and share my explorations. Now I go on adventures with the main purpose of taking photos. When I'm not creating, I enjoy teaching and sharing.

It has been a dream to be able to combine photography with teaching. In addition, I also teach Post Processing in Lightroom and Photoshop (Beginners and Advanced levels), lead workshops, and give presentations across universities and colleges.

Photography has provided me with some wonderful opportunities. At the top of the list is being a member of the premiere photography club Youth Photographic Society, Bengaluru.  These talented folks are my travel companions’ close friends and constant inspiration.

I've taken a lot of photos over the years. Most don't amount to much, but a few have won awards, been published, exhibited, or otherwise used in ways one might hope they would.
